Is my writing really never uploaded?
Really. The checker runs directly on your own computer. Your writing is not sent to the cloud, stored remotely, or used to train AI models.
Do I need anything else installed?
No. Download ikmal editor, install it, and start writing. It runs on your computer without extra services or software.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Activate your license or beta key once, then keep working disconnected for up to 30 days before reconnecting.
How does beta access work?
Private-beta participants can subscribe through the regular checkout, or receive a complimentary timed key from the Admin Command Center. If you receive a key (format: ikmal_beta_...), download the macOS installer, navigate to Settings → About → License Key, and paste it there. An active subscription or key unlocks proofing and software updates.
Which apps does it work with?
ikmal editor works with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Apple Notes and Mail, Obsidian, VS Code, and more.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
You can log into the Customer Account Portal anytime using the email address associated with your subscription to view active keys, copy license tokens, or cancel billing directly through Stripe.
